Robert Browne has been working on amphibian reproduction technologies and biobanking since his PhD began in 1998 as a middle-aged student. Previously, he worked in design drafting, fisheries, horticulture, construction, and video and photography.

Robert is now semi-retired and live among nature in Belize, but still devoted to conservation and contributes to the field through publications. Robert advises Nature’s Safe on biobanking amphibians and freshwater fishes. Fortunately, the cryopreservation of sperm and artificial fertilisation is successful with most amphibians and fishes. He enthusiastic about amphibian private caregivers working with biobanking to provide samples, citizen science, community involvement, and publicity.
