Tom Beeston
Chief Officer at the Chiltern Society 

Tom has worked in senior roles across the food, farming, and wildlife sector for over 25 years. Presently running the Chiltern Society, the largest protected landscape charity in England. Prior to which as CEO of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, which was when he first worked in the field of cryogenic animal gene banking.

 

Having been raised on his family dairy farm in Cheshire he studied Agriculture at Harper Adams University in Shropshire, and more recently at City University he completed his MSc in Food Policy. In his spare time, he has worked as an advisor and volunteer for many charities in the food, conservation, and sustainability sectors.
