Founded by Jane & Charles Bebbington, once an arable farm, the lake was formed in 1991 as a result of the Whitchurch bypass being built. Fast forward 20 years and Alderford is now a bustling leisure venue run by Jane & Chas’s son, Rob and is still very much a family run business. The Lakeside Kitchen team are passionate about using fresh, local ingredients wherever possible- and are donating 1p from hot drinks sales to Nature's SAFE.
