About Debbie
Debbie Rolmanis is Chief Operating Officer at Nature’s SAFE. In her role, Debbie leads operations, strategy execution, and collaborative initiatives that help protect species at risk and build capacity for long-term environmental impact.
Before joining Nature’s SAFE, Debbie built a multidisciplinary career. She is a qualified human and equine sports therapist and biomechanist and ran her own high performance consultancy, working with Olympic and World Games clients across New Zealand and Europe. She was part of the health support team at London 2012 and the New Zealand Para-Equestrian Team at WEG 2014. Debbie is also a published author, with her first book ‘Biomechanics for the Equestrian’ published in 2019 .
After more than a decade overseas, she returned to the UK and expanded her expertise into business development, incorporating CSR and ESG advisory. Debbie consulted for SME’s across multiple sectors and geographies before transitioning to conservation leadership.
