About Alice

Alice is a researcher whose work has focussed on the reproductive health, social behaviour, and breeding success of mammals in zoos. She obtained her PhD from the University of Liverpool, during which she developed research to improve the breeding success of bush dogs (Speothos venaticus) in zoos. She has managed the media and communications of Nature’s SAFE since 2021, using her expertise in reproductive biology and wildlife conservation to communicate the work of our charity to the public. As well as managing media and communications, Alice helps to guide the work of Nature’s SAFE as a member of the scientific committee.
