Dr Alice Clark

Alice Clark is a science communication specialist and conservation scientist with a PhD in Animal Behaviour & Physiology from the University of Liverpool. Her research has focussed on the reproductive health, social behaviour, and breeding success of mammals in zoos. Alice is also a member of the scientific committee at Nature’s SAFE.

About Alice

Alice is a researcher specialising in mammalian reproductive physiology, social behaviour and breeding success. She obtained her PhD from the University of Liverpool, where she developed research to improve the breeding success of bush dogs (Speothos venaticus) in zoos. She has managed the media and communications of Nature’s SAFE since 2021, using her expertise in reproductive biology and wildlife conservation to communicate the work of our charity to the public. In addition to managing charity communications, Alice helps to guide the work of Nature’s SAFE as Conservation Scientist and member of the scientific committee.
