About James
James Cork is the Animal Park Manager & Head Keeper at Hertfordshire Zoo in Broxbourne. With over 20 years of experience in the zoo industry, James has worked with a wide range of species, specialising in ungulates and reptiles. His favourite animal is the tapir.
Alongside his work at the zoo, James volunteers with the Association of British & Irish Wild Animal Keepers (ABWAK), supporting wild animal keepers to achieve excellence in animal welfare through communication, cooperation, training and development across the UK and Ireland.
